Building a new narrative

Halifax Convention Centre, November 27-29, 2018

First Nations people across Canada continue to strive for full recognition and implementation of their Nationhood through Self-Government.  In this era of “Reconciliation” there are many opportunities for First Nations to consider.

This conference will provide an examination of current approaches that are underway across Canada for First Nations interested in Self-Government.  Come and listen to their stories and learn about the steps taken by different Nations to implement their Self-Government agreements.

Over a three-day period in K’jipuktuk (also known as Halifax), a series of Self Government presentations and strategy sessions will highlight a pathway to Nationhood in Mi’kma’ki.
